BUMBLERIDE INDIE-- The NEW Indie is the hottest three-wheeler, all terrain stroller on the market. It is very solid and has a low center of gravity which provides a stable platform. This translates to an all terrain stroller that is much less likely to tip over. Geniusly designed, the front wheel has the option of fixed or swivel which adds to the versatility of the stroller and can pivot a full 360 degrees. The Lockable front swivel wheel will allow you to maneuver over rougher terrain and with the simple flick of a switch, will convert to a swivel wheel, which enables the Indie to navigate tight corners!

BUMBLERIDE FLYER-- The 2007 Bumbleride Flyer is truly an ergonomically designed stroller that you can custom to both baby/child and parental needs. Its innovative design enables it to hold several popular car seats (with an adapter) and to convert into a carriage (with simple adjustments of the footrest and removal of the bumper bar). The fully height adjustable handle bars, 4 position backrest and reversible handle bars make it an outstanding buy. A quality stroller with reversible handle bars is very hard to find in this price range and this feature alone, makes the Flyer an outstanding buy. Why are reversible handles so useful? Well both parents and baby will agree that being able to see each other is reassuring for both and is especially useful to first time parents, babies who are being transitioned from carriers, fussy babies or babies who are experiencing separation anxiety.

THE HIGH ROLLER-- Emily Reichardt may design strollers by day, but this Point Loma model-turned-mogul doesn't see decorating as child's play. The company's new office is located in Little Italy, in a converted craftsman-style house. The Euro-inspired strollers offer the hip factor without the ridiculous price tag. Strollers are available in stylish colors and have linings with organic, art nouveau-inspired prints that are intended to stimulate a child's senses. The newest one, the Indie, launches this month and is their new version of the three-wheeler.

BUMBLERIDE LAUNCHES NEW STROLLER LINE-- New Stroller manufacturer Bumbleride is making its official debut here at the All Baby and Child Expo. The company features a European aesthetic, with aluminum tubing frames and fashion-forward fabrics. “What we have is a young, fresh, creative design team” Said Matt Reichardt, president of the company. “We're going with poppy fabrics, current color trends, neat fabric textures, welded aluminum frame look and a sleek, clean appearance.” The company is debuting three models, all made available in two colorways with waterproof, washable, breathable fabrics. The Queen B is available in Ruby or Sterling, the Flyer comes in Pumpkin or Pacific and the Rocket is in Sunrise or Ruby. Retail prices are $329 for the Queen B, $269 for the Flyer and $279 for the Rocket. The Euro-styled strollers weigh between 22 and 31 pounds and are geared towards the specialty market. Bumbleride was at the Juvenile Products Manufacturers’ Assn. show in May to get feedback on its strollers, but it was not ready to take orders until now. The Queen B and the flyer are ready to ship; the Rocket will ship in January. Because of the clean-line styling, Bumbleride has shied away from the addition of plastic cup holders and instead plans to sell accessories separately. “It’s a lifestyle stroller,” Reichardt said. “Clean lines meeting with current fashions, and something that’s got a real attractive style to it”.

BRIGHT BEGINNINGS--For husband and wife Matthew and Emily Reichardt, strollers are functional and fashionable. Their San Diego-based company, Bumbleride, offers something different with sleek design and stylish fabrics. “Everything that we do is directed toward parents’ changing views of an outdoor lifestyle image,” explained Matthew. “Our strollers accessorize that [image], and keep up with what is happening in terms of fashion and color trends.” Bumbleride has all the standard features but also incorporates modern touches. Each stroller has a lightweight aluminum frame that lends a solid, high-quality feel to the pram, urban-style jogger and standard designs. “It’s a fresh, clean-looking stroller with some really great fabrics,” Matthew said. Breathable and washable nylon fabrics come in stylish colors like ruby, pumpkin, and pacific. The company officially launches at ABC, which Matthew said will be the perfect introduction to their target audience- the specialty store retailer. “We want to come [into the market] as something new, fresh and different,” he concluded.
