Nearly 2 million sick and injured children have been treated at Rady Children’s Hospital since it opened on August 19, 1954. It is San Diego county’s only hospital dedicated solely to pediatrics and is the region’s designated pediatric trauma center.
“Rady Children’s Hospital – San Diego, loves Bumbleride Strollers. Bumbleride cares about making life easier for parents and their children and that is exactly what they do for our tiniest patients and families at Rady. Bumbleride donates strollers to Rady on a continuous basis throughout the year impacting the quality of life of families with financial and medical needs. Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego thanks Bumbleride for their generosity” said Belinda Lanois, In-Kind Coordinator for Rady Children’s Hospital
Recently a stroller was given to the mother of Ruth Ruiz. Ruth is a 3 ½ month old baby who was born prematurely at 38 weeks gestation, has Down’s syndrome and a cardiac condition. She has been hospitalized in the NICU since birth due to various medical complications. Her parents lack resources and have not been able to buy a stroller for their daughter. Ruth’s mother was very appreciative for this donation!

A few of us in the office had a great idea of meeting for lunch on the first Friday of each month. We did a raffle and are picking a new spot every month. Today we ended up at Station in South Park. A fun, comfort food restaurant in a cool little pocket of San Diego. The food was delicious and there is a cute little play area for the kids.
