As the new year approaches many stroller companies are launching new stroller styles, or upgrading existing models, with new features that are sure to please parents and kids alike. Here are some of the newest arriving in stores and the cool new features you’ll want to look out for.
BEST PERFORMANCE ON UNEVEN SIDEWALKS: INDIE TWIN BY BUMBLERIDE
The Indie Twin is a versatile all-terrain double stroller with a narrow side-by-side design. The seats recline with a single lever and an adjustable footrest converts it from an infant to toddler seat quite easily. You only need one hand to push, thanks to its all-wheel suspension air-filled tires (pump included) and adjustable handle. The seats are made with 100% recycled polyester fabric made from post-consumer water bottles, which is soft to the touch. And when you need to store it, the stroller features a one-step fold with an auto lock, plus the stroller can stand on its own even when folded. Learn more.

“Whether it’s your first baby or your sixth, a single stroller usually means more available trunk space and the easiest-to-maneuver handling in any of the stroller categories. We’ve assembled the five most impressive single strollers for parents looking for everything from the traditional to the most design-savvy stroller.
Are you tall? Expect to have a huge toddler on your hands? Need somthing that’s going to take on Canadian snow like a boss? The Indie might be your new bestie! It’s got big tires (that come with their own compact pump), all-wheel suspension, an adjustable handlebar, extra-wide seat and the sunshade to take on all other sunshades. Assembly is a bit time consuming, but worth it. Ready from birth through 55lbs., it’s both car seat and bassinet compatible. The best part is that the fabric is 100 percent recycled PET (post consumer plastic water bottles).”- Andrea Traynor, Mommy Gearest for Canadian Family Magazine
We were honored that Sonnet James chose our Bumbleride Indie Twin in Silver Black for their New York Fashion Week trip. The stroller proved to wear multiple hats for them and we love the photos. Check out their amazing trip, playful dresses (new line launches November 8th!) and cute baby Leif.
“When we were planning our New York trip, we kind of dropped the ball on getting everything we needed for our sweet baby Leif while working on fabrics, samples, designing, and planning the entire shoot, hair and makeup, hotel stay, and flights for our ever growing team. So when we panicked that we didn’t have a stroller, we searched for the perfect system that would meet our needs and compliment our brand. When we came across the Bumbleride Indie Twin, it was exactly what we had in mind! Even with one baby, we knew we’d need plenty of room for our equipment, dresses, cameras, and LOTS of water bottles. The customer service was incredible and worked with us to flawlessly get the stroller to us in a serious time crunch. And even when it was super hot and stuffy, we could open up the flaps for better air flow and more comfort for our littlest team member. Since we left our hotel in the morning and didn’t get home until dark, our Bumbleride was also his crib, which worked out perfectly since each seat lays back to a completely reclined position. Maneuvering the streets was smooth and easy and we can honestly say, from experience, that it saved our backs and feet, and since we didn’t have to wear a tower of hats and six layers of coats each just to get around, it also kept us as cool as we could get in Manhattan’s September heat. Thanks for coming to our rescue, Bumbleride!!”
Our friend Natalie and Twiniversity founder, recently took our Indie Twin for a spin in New York! Watch her in-depth Indie Twin Double Stroller video review below.
“Alright, guys. That was a look at Bumbleride Indie Twin stroller. With a retail price of $739 it is a little bit on the pricey side but if you listen to all the features we talked about today it is well worth the price.” -Natalie Diaz, Twiniversity Founder
Thanks for your detailed review Nat! We’re lucky to have your support!
“We just love brands that make us want to get outside and Bumbleride is one of them. Though we’re not entirely sure, there is a rumor going around that this brand is founded and run by avid surfers – hence even more reason that the line makes our Endless Summer registry. Bumbleride’s strollers with its air-filled tires are made to handle any outdoor terrain. Plus the UPF/SPF 45+ canopies to protect baby from sun year-round (since we know those harmful rays are not season-specific).” – Gugu Guru
